Orders & Shipping
How long does delivery take?
For Dubai and Sharjah, delivery typically takes 1–2 business days. For all other emirates — Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah — delivery takes 2–4 business days. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation, excluding weekends and UAE public holidays.
Do you deliver outside the UAE?
We currently deliver within the UAE only. International shipping may be added in the future. If you are based outside the UAE and want to enquire, email us at hello@auraallure.com.
How will I know my order has been shipped?
You will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched. Use the tracking number on the courier's website to follow your delivery.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of being placed, provided they have not yet been dispatched. Email hello@auraallure.com immediately with your order number. Once dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible and the order must go through our returns process.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, and any additional payment methods displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely.
Returns & Refunds
Can I return a product?
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for unused, unopened products in their original packaging with the seal intact. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened or used beauty and hair care products unless the item is faulty or not as described. Please see our full Returns & Refunds Policy for details.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it at hello@auraallure.com with your order number and photos. We will assess your case and offer a replacement or refund in line with UAE consumer protection law.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days back to your original payment method.
Products & the Curly Girl Method
What is the Curly Girl Method?
The Curly Girl Method (CGM) is a hair care approach designed for wavy, curly, and coily hair. It focuses on avoiding harsh ingredients — particularly sulphates, silicones, and mineral oils — that strip moisture and weigh down natural curl patterns. Instead, it uses gentle cleansers, moisturising conditioners, and curl-defining styling products to bring out your hair's natural texture. All Curly Girl Movement products are fully CG Method approved.
Are all the products on AuraAllure sulphate and silicone free?
All Curly Girl Movement products sold on AuraAllure are free from sulphates, silicones, mineral oils, and parabens, and are certified CG Method approved. Always check the product description and ingredient list for full details.
Where are Curly Girl Movement products made?
Curly Girl Movement products are made in Italy and distributed from the Netherlands. AuraAllure imports and distributes them directly in the UAE as an authorised distributor.
Which products are right for my curl type?
Curly Girl Movement products are suitable for wavy (type 2), curly (type 3), and coily (type 4) hair. As a general guide:
- Wavy and fine curly hair: Conditioner Light, Cleansing Co-Wash, Curl Styling Milk
- Curly and coily hair: Conditioner Heavy, Curl Defining Gel, Hydro Hug Hair Mask
- All curl types: Clarifying Shampoo (for monthly reset), Curl Comeback Repair Mask (for damaged or heat-treated hair)

My hair feels dry and frizzy in the UAE — will these products help?
Yes. The UAE climate presents specific challenges for curly hair — hard water, extreme heat, humidity, and constant air conditioning all contribute to dryness and frizz. Curly Girl Movement products are designed with moisture at their core, using ingredients that help combat these exact conditions. We particularly recommend:
- Using the Clarifying Shampoo monthly to remove hard water mineral build-up
- Following up with the Conditioner Heavy or Conditioner Light depending on your hair thickness
- Using the Hydro Hug Hair Mask weekly during dry months to restore deep moisture
- Styling with the Curl Defining Gel to lock in definition and fight humidity-induced frizz
How often should I wash my curly hair in the UAE climate?
Most curly hair types do well with washing 1–3 times per week. In the UAE, where heat, sweat, dust, and hard water can cause build-up more quickly, a regular cleansing routine is important. Use the Clarifying Shampoo once a month for a deep reset, and the Cleansing Co-Wash for gentler in-between washes that won't strip moisture.
Can I use Curly Girl Movement products on colour-treated hair?
Yes. Because all products are free from sulphates and harsh cleansers, they are generally safe for colour-treated hair. However, avoid using the Clarifying Shampoo within the first week after colouring, as deep cleansing shampoos can cause colour to fade faster. Always patch test new products if you have a sensitive scalp.
How do I start the Curly Girl Method for the first time?
The best way to start is with a final wash using the Clarifying Shampoo to remove any silicone and product build-up from previous hair care products. After that, switch fully to CG-approved products. Begin with a simple routine — cleanser, conditioner, and one styling product — and adjust as you learn what your hair responds to best.

Yes. All products sold on AuraAllure are sourced directly from authorised brand suppliers. We do not sell grey market or counterfeit products.
